Home to many traditional craft forms, Mirzapur is one the biggest producers hand-made Carpets and Dari, which has been holding a very unique place in the world due to its unique geometrical patterns or curvilinear motifs made in a traditional manner using natural wool.

In the age of industrial and counterfeit products, the conventional market was falling rapidly. The continuous lowering interest of new generation in this labor intense industry with poor and unorganized infrastructure was resulting migration of skilled manpower.
