We are thrilled to announce the release of our much-awaited documentary, “75 Years of Earth Science in India,” a visual masterpiece that encapsulates the remarkable journey of India’s scientific community over the past seven and a half decades!
On this momentous occasion, during the 17th Foundation Day Celebrations of the Ministry of Earth Sciences, we had the immense honor of unveiling our film in the presence of the Honorable Minister, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Shri Kiran Rijiju.

From the majestic peaks of Gangotri to the serene beaches of Goa, our intrepid 10,000-kilometer expedition took us on an unforgettable journey, exploring the diverse landscapes that have been the backdrop of Earth science endeavors in India.
The Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), with its visionary leadership, has played a pivotal role in understanding and predicting natural phenomena, making immense contributions to weather forecasting, climate studies, oceanography, seismology, and polar science.
Our documentary sheds light on the invaluable work of key institutions like the India Meteorological Department (IMD), National Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasting (NCMRWF), Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS), National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT), National Centre for Seismology (NCS), and the National Centre for Antarctic and Ocean Research (NCPOR). Their collective efforts have paved the way for a brighter and more sustainable future for India and the world.
